One of the local farmers DOES use that method with a fair amount of success !
And I have been told of another method, which is a)....Completely illegal, as far as animal cruelty is concerned...and b) extremely dangerous.
(My better half would kill me, if I even considered it.)

Managed to get in a game of Dux Bellorum yesterday evening and then a fast and furious free-for-all Wings of War battle between my daughter (25) flying an Albatross DVa, my son (15) flying a Roland CII and myself flying a SPAD 13.

I was shot down by turn four , my daughter on turn 7 or 8 and my son ran out victorious.

Damn those bally sausage munching Hun two seaters!!
