Is the Bell P39 Airacobra amongst them? The Soviets actually thought quite a lot of it.  :o

And I'm very interested in anything Japanese.  =P~

 Leon,

please add a P-39Q Airacobra to the pile of things I'm to collect at Claymore.

I may need to hire a van to get home from the show at this rate  =)

Excellent, thanks for posting that.  I'd seen evidence of the Japanese planes on a few blog posts online, but couldn't find anything official from Revell.  Hopefully the sales from the first two batches will be enough for them to get this last lot back into production as well.

Ordered a couple of these kits off Leon along with some  WW2 stuff but happened to bump into some packs at the weekend and thought you can't have too many aircraft so bought one to try out. They are really quite tiny and you lose a bit of detail and I found it a bit of a bugger to put together (combination of being small and flimsy and my propensity for covering myself in glue).
Anyway they paint up quite nice.

They do need some work on the undercarriage. Choice of markings can be a bit eccentric as well. The P-40 is one based in the Aleutians, bet most purchasers haven't heard of them.

Great job there Matt 8). I do agree that they are difficult to put together, especially the rocket racks which annoyed the hell out of me. But they are fantastic value.

hence no photos from below.
I noticed that this typhoon could not be assembled with the wheels up (they don't fit in the recess) I had to model it with greenstuff. Looked a bit odd flying around with the wheels down.

Quoteespecially the rocket racks which annoyed the hell out of me

yeah cut them out of the sprue and glued them on then noticed the racks were all different lengths  >:(

but for £2 can't complain.

anyone recommend any decent WW2 dog fight rules ?
