Impressed that you actually are going to have to time catch breath before driving up after that 2am finish.

Luckily Dave does the driving!  I'm hoping to get home a little earlier tonight, and then Dave will be picking me up at 9am, to get to the Excel for about 1pm-ish hopefully.  The traders have to queue outside for quite a while, so we need to be there reasonably early to get towards the front of the queue for unloading.

Very much looking forward to the show. Hmmm, it's been almost a month since my last order arrived, maybe I should pick something up on the day. :D

All set now, van packed, and if we've forgotten anything it's too late!  (Actually, I just realised I've left my camera in the unit, so I might have to get up early to go get it before we set off!  #-o )

Hopefully we'll see a load of Forum members at the show, and we might even get two minutes for a chat as well!

Fekkn LOA army packs... :'(

Please dont tell me how lovely they are and how fabulous the new cavalry is... I had to cancel my plans to attend for an OH appointment that I needed to attend at short notice for the new job :(
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Greetings

First time I'd been to Salute for a few years.

I enjoyed it - chatted a bit to Dave and Leon and admired - but restrained myself from buying [because I'd be unpopular for buying a new period]  - the LoA stuff (yes Nosher the cavalry are nice).

I spent a bit of time at the Nachod 1866 game - which looked good with its Pendraken figures in historical formations - talking to Mollinary.

Also 10mm Pendraken in evidence in an FPW game at Realistic Modelling.

Likewise enjoyed the show immensely. It's my perception that there were a lot more people there this year than last. The traders' stands were bigger and much more professional looking. Salute seems to be matching up to the other hobby shows at last.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
