1) Warmaster Fantasy
2) Araby vs Dogs if War vs Chaos vs Lizardmen in a king of the hill style game
3) No, not really. Despite all of us having played loads of Warmaster there are still too many bits that we can't  remember / agree on.
4) no lots of previous games.

Chad

1. Patriots & Loyalists
2. Americans bs British
3. Enjoyed them. Straightforward to learn and with some
     Interesting ideas.
4. First time used. Part of AWI rule try- outs

Phobos

1) De Bellis Magistrorum Militum
2) Alexander Macedonian and Saka (Battle of Jaxartes)
3) With the rulesets, yes, but the scenario itself needs loads of improvements.
4) DBMM, less than a year, but I know the basic mechanics of DBA and DBM lot of time ago.

Luddite

Interesting Phobos.  How do you find DBMM?  As long time tournament level DBM players we gave it a go and really found it a struggle.   :(

1) Locally modified Regimental Fire and Fury.
2)  Austrians and Prussians for 1866, battle was a development of Skalitz with two Austrian Corps (VIII and IV) and one Prussian (V + one brigade of VI). About 3-3500 Pendraken figures deployed.
3) Yes, increasingly, but still ironing out teething problems (in the modifications, not the basic rules).
4) Have now used them seven times, and look to do more for some scenarios from Koniggratz.

Last nights game:

1.  Bolt Action
2.  British Commando's v Weird War germans
3.  Yes, enjoyed it as it was a playtest for some home brewed weird war additions which has helped tweak the stats
4.  Almost a dozen games under my belt now

Up tonight - Space Hulk!!  ;)

The One Ring
Heroes against Goblins and wargs
Yes enjoyed it, the heroic types got a bit possed and needed a bit of help from a wandering Ranger who had been tracking the Goblins ;D ;D ;D
First time used it in anger, read it many times and ran multiple combats to practice the rules. We had a few teething troubles until we realised we were misunderstanding one of the rules.
Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!

Last Hussar

Dux Brittanica
Saxons v Britons
Like them - wondering if 'finding loot' is too difficult though
3rd game
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Field of Battle (Piquet lite) 1866 house variant
1866 Austro Prussian War
Very good
Fought 10 battles now, tweaking as we go, pretty much a wrap now.

Last week we tried out British Grenadier. An excellent of rules. Could be better explained, but worth the effort. Not a fast play set though.

Used quite a few sets of rules for AWI but still looking for a decent set of rules that fit the period the way I interpret it. Maurice comes close but is still missing something which I cant put my finger on...

We use Pendraken figures - 40 mm round bases, with either 3 or 4 figures on a base, depending on the type of unit.

1) Battle Group Kursk
2) Russians attacking Germans
3) Easy enough to pick up, lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of dice rolling... some of which I'm not sure is quite necessary. My jurys is still out and I think I might need a few more games to see if I like them or not.
