O Dinas Powys

I’ve mentioned this in a couple of threads recently and it occurred to me that whilst not at all a wargaming resource it might be of interest to some in the wider forum.

If you’re not familiar with In Our Time, it’s a Radio 4 discussion programme during which “Melvyn Bragg and guests discuss the history of ideas”.  The BBC have recently made every episode recorded available to download so the archives are well worth a browse: Culture, History, Philosophy, Religion, Science, it’s all there.

The homepage is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qykl from which the collated archives can be accessed.

Of specific military interest, a quick scan of the history archive shows episodes on The Battle of Stamford Bridge; Custer’s Last Stand; and The Battle of Bannockburn.

Hope someone finds this interesting and/or useful.

Cheers!

Hi

Yep listen to it every Thursday at work - no matter the subject always fascinating - the only problem being to get people out of my office so I can listen in peace!
