40mm bofors question

Hi.
Please can you tell me what the 4 discs are for that come on little sprues with this model. Are they plates for the legs? Seats? Back rests?

I believe they are the sighting rings.  I left mine off.

 they are seats. They glue on either side of the gun mount.

I had to check with Dave on this one, they're the sights, which attach onto the top of the barrel.
