New ACW zouaves for 1870 French

The old French 1870 Zouaves are pretty naff, let's be honest, also they're flimsy. Has anyone seen the new ACW Zouaves, would they do for 1870?

No, but the rumour mill says they are allegedly turbaned...  More suited to 1850s... or Turcos or...

I've just painted up 80 of FPW11 as Zouaves, Turcos and Imperial Guard Zouaves for my 1859 army.

Having seen the photos of the new ACW Zouaves I wish I had waited to use these

FPW II Andrew, single pose with chassepot/bayonette so thin that my lot now look as if they're looting sawn off shotguns! The new zouaves look much better and, I think, will look better beside the FPW II line which are a bit more solid looking and much more substantially cast.

You're lucky, Cam. Some of my 1859 Turcos are just ankle-stumps on the bases!

Packs not really the same as French, but who cares, still great sculpts!

Bit blurry, as my camera is still in the shop and this is on my phone!
Shown are 4 command figures (Officer, standard, bugeler and drummer), and a front and back of the infantry, one has a blanket roll, the other a pack with clobber and kit hanging off it. No French tent poles or tent quarters, and life is too short to sculpt them on for me, so my theory is they got surprised before they could strike their tent!

Might have to order some normal ones in fez for 1st Corps, as it looks like Macmahon is going to be in battle in my 1870 Campaign before too long.
