Hello
Your elefants.
Are they moulded in parts or is it one casting?

If in parts.Do you know what the melting point is for the metall?
I think most whitemetall can take up to 150C.

Are you talking elephants with a trunk, or Elefants with a barrel?   :D

The Carthage elephants are one piece, the Ancient Indian's are an elephant with separate crew.

The Jagdpanzer Elefant comes in two pieces, the hull and the barrel.

As for melting points, I'm not sure what temperature the metal will start to warp, but we have our melting pot set at 280 degrees C.  What are you planning to do with it?

since my first choice here with elefants was a chartage army I guess I dont need to do anything with them but I think i prefer to solder together my
white metal castings.I know some people think this is very scary to consider but its really possible and give a better surface in my opinion.

Besides Im really tempted with the late romans too. What book are they in Field of glory?anyone know?

I've just checked with Dave, and the metal would start to melt at a temp of 180, so soldering the figures together might not be the best idea.
