HELP! GERMAN SPEAKERS TO THE RESCUE?

As the title says, I need help.  On the 'Firelocks to Maxims' board, there is a thread called. 'Leopold von Edelsheim 1866'.  I have posted about ten or so lines of the original Austrian Official History of the War, in the hope that someone with a higher level of German than mine might be willing to offer a pretty exact translation.  I believe I have the gist, but it is the only description I have found in the History of Austrian cavalry fighting dismounted, and I would love to have a definitive version.  All help will be gratefully received!

A Dutch friend translated it to this

The Brigade of Wallis twitched slightly to the front- and all three cavalry regiments made ready for the sachsischen troops, to the requisitions of the position in the first linie. Several man sat down then walking to the hills between Lunacek and Zames, but they couldn’t hold there position, when at 6 hours friendly force moved forward, was the brigade under attack / fire, to the horse departments of the regiment from escadron 1 and 3 from the Liechtenstein regiment who where under fire, they had to move back

just spotted this thread, so hope this translation helps you.

Even Wallis’ brigade advanced a little â€" and, in expectation of the early engagement of the Saxon troops, all three cavalry regiments prepared themselves to defend the position in the first instance.  Several platoons dismounted, formed up on foot and occupied the hill between Lunacek and Zames but they could not hold their position for long, despite their great bravery and although supported by attacking swarms; when significant enemy forces advanced at around 6 o’clock, the brigade had to pull its skirmishers back under cover of an attack launched by the battalions of the 1 and 3 squadrons of the Liechtenstein hussars which had remained mounted.

Small note that the the first phrase could possibly be translated as "Walliis' Brigade also advanced a little" - depends on the previous sentence.

Still, your translation matches mine, so extra confirmation for Mollinary.
