Thank you, a very useful guide.  8)
I wondered how you were doing your black swirls, mine last week were a little broad with a 00 brush! :D

That pen does look fun.
Yonks ago I used a rorting (or similar) 'mapping' pen....but the nibs were always clogging, rendering them useless.
I assume the pen Dougie's shown us is the equivalent of a very, very fine 'felt tip'.
Is that right ?
Cheers - Phil.

Excellent stuff, Dougie - enjoy the rest of them!

Yes, I had a Rotring pen too, Phil. Expensive (at the time) German thing that clogged after one use and never worked again in spite of my soaking the nib in all sorts of magic potions.  >:(

They were absolute swine for that, weren't they Ray ?
Even the lightest of touches on something you'd painted could cause problems.... I managed to keep one going for a decent while..Probably still got it hidden somewhere....BOY....Would that need a good clean out now !! ;D ;D ;D

Fairly straight forward, the bases are textured then painted, I've used Vallejo SS Blk Brown which is drybrushed up with a slightly lighter shade, I then add some Woodland Scenics course turf T64 medium green, then add some static grass and a couple of silfor tufts, 2 tone late fall. Hope this helps. Dougie

A couple of support elements for my 10mm Brits, 23C and 23D from B Sqn The Blues and Royals ready for some bunker zapping. Pendraken model very slightly modified with greenstuff scrim and some additional stowage. I've managed to paint on the convoy stripes on the lower rear hull between the tracks and the callsign on the right of the rear turret bin.  Dougie

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Green was based around Vallejo Reflective Green 890 suitably lightened with yellow, the black was black highlighted with German grey. Hope this helps  :) Dougie
