Hi Harold,

Dazza passed on your question, I used Foundry Storm Blue (39), all 3 shades for the artillery.  There are a lot of suggestions for the colour of the artillery equipment, from light grey to deep grey, medium blue to dark blue and even red.  It was during the Napoleonic Wars that the colour started to be standardised as light grey.  I went for the Storm Blue, somewhere in between.

Couldn't agree more...apart from [apologies] the fact that the stoopid hex terrain leaves those huge, noticeable and detracting lines between hexes...gah! I can suspend my disbelief for a whole load of things - but obvious hexes isn't one I'm afraid

Yeah, I even hesitated to comment because I feel the same about hexes. But Dazza's troops look so incredibly good, they easily make up for it.
