My first attempt at French Napoleonic 10mm

I've painted all types of miniatures before but this is my first go at anything in 10mm scale, so please be gentle! I've not really stuck to historical accuracy, but I think my next batch shall but more accurate (researching is one of the best bits anyways!)

Thanks all for the nice comments! I'm hoping that I can improve with practice!

My main issue is patience...I get too excited to see a unit completed that I tend to blast my way through the paint job!

Join my club! The trick is to get up and go and do something else for a while.  :)

Things to distract and help you wind down during unit painting:

1. work on a building or some other terrain piece at the same time
2. have some books on the period/subject handy
3. have a computer/laptop handy (take part in online discussions)
4. or a radio
5. or a wife (depends on which brand though)
6. or kids in the 10-15 age bracket
7. or do small gardening jobs in between painting bouts
