This past weekend we were up in Falkirk for the Carronade show.  This one is getting bigger and better every year, and is definitely the perfect show to kickstart your 2012 season north of the border (there is one in Dumfries earlier in the year, but we don't attend that one!).  The numbers were up on last year, and the day was pretty busy overall, aside from a bit of a lull from 12-2.

One thing which Falkirk always delivers is great games, and this year was no exception!

There were a couple of games I didn't get chance to grab pics of, and thanks to the online blogs for taking more notes than me, and allowing me to pinch some descriptions!

Next up on the calendar is the 2-day affair down at Triples in Sheffield.  Hope to see you there!

Some very nice games on show as you say Leon 8).

Could be well wrong but I believe that the 15mm Pirates was the Independant Wargames Club, basically 1 dude and his kids, their games are always impressive (more so when you realise its just 3 people) and they won best table in show at Targe a couple of years ago. What even stranger is one of the kids is of the female persuasion, and is 20+, well past the age of discovering boys.  :o

:) Yup, it was a grand day out  Lots of eye candy in the games.  The Pendraken stand was in a nice prominent position too, made you guys easy to find.

Some great looking games - and that Glasgow Gaming Club 28mm one is the Empire of the Dead freebie Jack the Ripper scenario which is what's making me rethink my don't-do-28mm-this-year resolution!

Those pics aren't helping Leon  ;D
