10mm rowers

I am trying to find some oarsmen for a 10mm Viking long ship without any success.  I haven't been able to find any 10mm figures in a rowing pose for that matter. 
Are there any rowers in any of the Pendraken ranges?   I just need the pose to be right and then I can convert from there.

How about chariot crews?   Any ideas would be great as this one has stumped me.

The only one I thought of is the seated WWII German infantry - they have their rifles held across their knees. Might need a lot of work onthe helmet though??

There wasn't a picture of the seated German infantry on the website.  Any chance of a picture?
Hopefully, a file, some green stuff, and the right paint job can change a 20th century soldier to a 9th century raider.

Just a quick thought, we've had a guy recently convert some crewmen for the WWII dinghy's, so they might be a step closer to what you're looking for.  It'd still need a bit of work, but we've got left and right hand chaps with oars?

They've not been put into moulds yet, but we're hoping to have them ready soon.

That might be a better solution.  I can wait on this one.  I still have loads to paint up from my Christmas order. 
I'll have to work on my 10mm surgery in the meantime.

German Vikings in 10mm? This is worth watching ... I don't suppose we'lll see any at the Olympics this year?

Have you thought about the Preiser and Woodland scenics N scale stuff they do penty of unpainted sitting figure...mostly modern I grant you but there maybe some poses that could be used and there not that expensive from memory

Actually I found a set of seated figures from Preiser.  I think that I will try these first with some head replacements.
