Maybe we need to read through The three Saxon threads and put them all together in a 'Saxon Resources' post in Resources! If we're alll making that mistake, perhaps pooled knowledge can avoid anyone else making the mistake in the future? Then maybe Mollinary should edit it and we can benifit from amazing depth of his knowledge.  :D

I like the paintwork on the last one!

Oh, and the others too, I suppose.
Water is indeed the essential ingredient of life, because without water you can't make coffee!

What amazes me is how the large furry object manages to cling to the wall it's lying up against.  :D

Oh, and well done on the painting side.  8)

Greetings

I'm not well read on the Saxons but these look very nice.

So what's the Pendraken code for the furry object?  [In our case it's YSC1 'You stupid cat 1'  - he has a tendency to pick up 10mm stands by the figures if I'm not careful].

In our case "FFB1" Fat fluffy blob! She's called Tabs, very neurotic but lovely!

Congrats Lemmey, they look great!  I love the overall look of the Corps, and the "aggressive" basing.  One final quibble, but an easy one! ;)
For reasons I totally do not understand, their glorious and magnificent Feldherr is Kronprinz "Albert" , not the more Germanic "Albrecht".  I think the American comment on this one might be "Go figure!".  Just got back from a trip to the field of war with Cameronian, among others.  Had a great time, once again I found the fields fascinating as well as moving, and learned lots. To be recommended if you get the chance.

:-[Another case of different sources saying different things, guess I was in a proPrussian mood when I did his label and so used that sources spelling!  :'(
I can relabel later, maybe!  ;)
Thanks for the tour recommendation! Any pictures?  :D

I feel your pain - I bet most of the sources saying Albrecht were in English!  The best proof positive, however, is if you Google Konig Albert you'll find entries for "SMS Konig Albert", a German Battleship of the Kaiser class named after our hero.  On photos, members of our party took some, and have promised to share, but haven't done so yet. I am afraid what few talents I have do not really lie in that direction. If I get some I'll discuss with Leon how we might post them.  On that subject, they should include views from many angles of a complete Austrian Rocket system, on tripod, which we got up close and personal with in the St John Chapel at Trautenau. I would like to persuade Leon to reproduce this, to replace the pig trough currently masquerading as the system in the range at present!  :d

Ah, yes, but how effective was it?  :d

Well, our Czech historian gave some pretty impressive figures for performance, which left me wondering why it went out of service. Many of us bought a booklet on the rockets, sadly only available in Czech, so when we get it translated I may be able to answer your question. Until then it remains a mystery!
