Presents my 1870 project, in French.

By the way if you could be interested to participate to the first 1870 game, the whole war from the 4th to the 18th of August 1870 with around 100 tactical maps at a 1/4 000 scale covering the whole north of Alsace-Lorraine area (you saw part of only two of them for the Gravelotte St Privat game),  at a strategic, army or corps level, don't hesitate to contact me for further details. For now I only have two reservations: the Prussian guard corps and Napoleon III)

I do love those map thingys you use, what does something like that cost?

ronan

That's wonderful, old friend !  :)

Techno

Terrific !...Love it !
Cheers - Phil.

I pay between 80 and 120 pounds per map depending the size as every map is painted and is an original work. A reproduction would be cheaper.

Salut Ronan!
I plan to spend two months in France this winter and hope to see you there.

The Gravelotte-St Privat refight will take about fifty players over a week? Did I translate that correctly? Wow!  @-) =P~

No, Gravelotte St Privat is playable in a week-end with 8-10 players, 30 to 50 players is for the big game (the whole campaign from 6th of July until the 18th).
