Why do Forum owners sit there smuggly when we ask sensible questions such as "how can I get promoted?" and never really answer?

Pete Jones does the same on his BKC forum. Something to do with the "it's my ball" syndrome I suspect.

My own answer (reply 1) is correct, if in a joking form.  Leon's (reply 2 and our host here) is complete and polite.
