Hello all,
Just a general question, does anyone have a good web site for uniforms of the Crimean war? Just curiouse maybe a new project, cursed 10mm figures!!

The Crimean War Research website has some A4 uniform publications at very reasonable prices. Not many pics but plenty of information.

Why not just rent a video of"The Charge of the Light Brigade"

Should be near enough for wargaming.

Would that be the one where the Director wanted to put the Brit Infantry in blue so they could use the same material as the Cavalry uniforms?
A compromise was reached where the same colour as the Hussar breeches was used instead!

Is odd how it's not that popular reason why I asked, wanted to do a bit of research 1st

Jerrylee: I love the Crimea  as far as websites I'm not sure but the on-line store On Military Matter's which is in the state's as I am has two great book's on the uniform's of the Crimea War I can't remember the name's there not in front of me. But if you use OMM search engine you should be able to locate the book's if not let me know and I'll see about e-mailing them to you.
