Hope fully this doesn't upset Pendraken too much by going on their notice board (or possilby it will give them an idea :) ) Does anyone know of any company doing ACW civilians in 10mm? Or anything in suitable clothing, I was thinking wild west or similar?  I can't find anything in the pendraken list I could use.

I've only been able to find "thoroughbred" in the US and by the time I do postage and exchange to the UK it adds on a cost as I only want a dozen or so.

Theres something about doing my own by putting a green putty dress on a confederate General figure that doesn't seem right (beside the beard).

all the best, Dave T.

FPW 28 is civilian French communards from about the right period. Of course they are armed but that could be altered with a scalpel.

Hi Dour Puritan

Any chance of a picture of the Communards?

Cheers

I haven't actually bought any yet - eventually will use for un-uniformed Francs Tireuers. Does Leon have a picture, or anyone else on the forum?

Those ACW communards look a bit gay!

Apparently Thoroughbred produce 10mm C19th civilians. There are photos on www.10mmworld.com

Hope this helps. They'd also work for the FPW etc.

Thanks for the suggestions - I tried Thouroughbred but they were going to be expensive on delivery to UK.

With the figures I already have on my painting trays I can hold on until the new Pendraken ones around March.

I'm thinking of adding some as sceaerny dressing, perhaps as spectator obstacles for a Bull Run game or helpless settlers for a Wild West game.
