Can I just interrupt the mass scratching of heads to observe that these are beautifully painted figures . The horses are particularly impressive.

I've been out of town for a few days and come home to see a challenge! Finally, some others with responses, I like to see that. OK, lets see, first I look at the standard. Hmmm, red lion rampant on a blue shield?  Surely it's not Scottish. Nope. Castile has a red lion but the castles are missing. This is tough! Knowing Macieck it is OBSCURE. Luxembourg has a rampant red lion but I'm not aware of any contingent units during the WSS. I will offer up the vague guess of a unit of dragoons from one of the many members of the Palatinate as the Palatinate flag has one member(i don't know who) with a rampant red lion.
I got nothin' else.

When selecting photos for the blog, I tried no to show to much, beacuse I considered this question easy. Much easier than the previous ...

Not my period, and I don't have my 'Lexicon der Heraldik' handy. But what you have on the flag seems a red-white striped lion, otherwise known as a 'Bunter Löwe'. Since the first stripe is red, rather than white, it would be the symbol of Thüringen (otherwise it would be Hessen).  No idea on the unit, but everybody says dragoons, so I'll say some unit of dragoons from Thüringen.

Or maybe it is Hessen, since Thüringen doesn't seem to be involved, but Hessen is?

 Very nice Maciek! I do, indeed, like the variety you are able to attain, and first rate painting, too.  I have been very unproductive the last few months as well as being distracted by the Napoleonic period.  Well, no more. My heart lies with the early 18th century and so I will focus my attention to it. I've downloaded Musatfa's promising "Maurice Lite" to read over the holiday, now, if I can settle in on figure scale. I do love 10mm but 6mm has great appeal and a certain visual grandeur.
BTW, I gain most of my quiz victories by consulting C.S.Grant's "From Pike to Shot 1685-1720". It's weakness is lack of flags, though and that's where my Hall/Schoor CD's and the web help. I try to let others have a whack at it first but then I MUST have a go. Depending upon how many quizes you hold, maybe someone will catch me? If not I really look forward to those flags.
  To Leon-please, can we have a basic WSS/GNW marching pose for musketeers and grenadiers similar to the Wargames Factory guy? Don't make me wait for Magister's!

Grenadier - do it in 10 mm. Especially if you got so many informations about uniforms.
I also considered 6mm, but the scale difference is dramatic. In 10mm you can recreate uniform of specific units, in 6mm it would be rather "redcoats agains bluecoats" game.
