what do these equate to in BKC1/2, looking at the the airborne packs [German Paras,British Airborne,D-Day American Paras Army Packs].

What do they work out as, a battalion, regiment etc and is any support included with the packs

thanks in advance

Raider4

They're priced & sized for the original BKC.

Can't help with the company/battalion/regt question, sorry.

Cheers, Martyn

Cant speak for the Airbourne packs Andy, but the pack I bought on Saturday had 2 complete tank battalions (9 tanks each) an infantry battalion (only 8 stands) some recce A/Cs, some AT guns and a few mortars. So that looks to me like a tank regiment with grenadier support. And do not believe the points values for the packs, as stated theyre for BKC 1, so that 2000pt pack worked out nearer 2500, which is more than enough for a good game.

As Gordon says, with the support.  We could customise one for you if you wanted, it's no bother.

On the points, we'll be going through them all at Xmas, and repointing them for BKC2.

If you want Leon I'll re-do the points for you, its not like I have that much else to do. Just let me know what packs you want done.

fred.

If you work on 5 or 6 figures for an infantry platoon, and 9 platoons for a battalion, you need about 50 figs (5 packs) + a couple of HMGs and Mortars

Leon - with the listings of the packs could you put what names of what the codes are - its really hard to work out what comes in the pack just from the code numbers

If you'd be happy to do that, it would certainly save us a load of time?  We'll need to do them all at some point, but anything which you'd fancy doing would be really appreciated.  I've got an old pricing spreadsheet somewhere, with the codes and quantities listed on it, it doesn't show the code description, but it could be easy to modify for pointing?  Let me know if you'd like it sending through.

Yeah, I can do that on the website, again it's just finding the time, but I'll pop it on my list of jobs to do.  They were only really kept to the codes due to the space constraints in the printed catalogues.

YORSTONS

Hi folks,
As a slight sideways step, can someone tell me what size bases i need for my hmg's.at rifles and mortas please. I have all the sizes for the command and armour ect.

Cheers,
Steve.

as these are all support types in BKC2 its recommended to bung them on smaller bases than the infantry, so a 25x25 or a 30x30 would be fine. As a wee bonus you need fewer packs.
