No worries mate - these are heavily stylized and won't be to everyone's taste...I'm looking at them and thinking that maybe I should have painted them 'properly'

Nah - first instincts are usually right. As someone once said to me - you can paint for accuracy or paint for effect; and the latter is usually the better option.

Good point - and now that I've made a start on the Russkies I'm happy with my decision to do them like this because I just want to get them fighting ASAP
