Does anyone know where I can buy unusual dice on line. I'm looking the more exotic types like four sided and eight sided. Cheers.

I usually get mine from EM4 - you can also get custom dice sorted there too...

Now, if only Leon carried dice more exotic than 6-siders...I'd be able to satisfy my dice fetish all-in-one-place  :)

Thanks for the links chaps. Three really interesting sites. I've placed an order with em4miniatures and now look forward to playing Lion of the North without having to convert d6 throws.

I ordered some dice from em4miniatures at 9.30pm Tuesday and they arrived at lunchtime today. Excellent service.

Yep - consistently good in my experience.

Aha - and here comes the competition  ;)

Like it though Leon - I have an unshamed dice fetish & usually buy a *load* every year, most often in one hit: so once you've got your range to include the polyhedrals, expect an order from me  8)

Yeah, I need to get the loose ones in I think, the bagged poly sets I've got don't shift too well...  :(

You could always just split the bags up  ;)

Forgot you did dice actually. Looking at it I suspect the reason for low sales on the polyhedral dice is that it's one of each, so not really any use if you need a load of D10 for example. Loose might well be the best way to go. Think I'll get a bunch of dice from you next time I order or are you going to be at SELWG next month?

EDIT: of course you are you posted about it on the forum a few days ago! :-[

Haven't you realised by now that all multi-sided dice (except D6 & D10) are the work of the Devil and should be outlawed under the Geneva Convention? You're only encouraging lazy rule-writers to use ever more outrageous dice in pusuit of diminishing returns. Any rule-writer who can't get an acceptable result from either of the above deserves a day in the pillory.  :d :D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

I'm with you on that to an extent but really we don't need anything other than a D6 (or buckets of D6)

I prefer D6 or multiples of will tolerate D10 but what really gets my goat is rulesets which use a multitude of dice for different situations. Pick one type and stick to it I say.

solid and second'd  :-B

I do, however, like the idea of dice with an optional 6 or 1, e.g. thumbs up or a skull instead.
