I was having a browse through some Google searches the other night, and managed to unearth an online Pendraken catalogue from back in 2001!  I found it pretty interesting to see just how much we've added over that period, and how many ranges have been replaced.  Here it is, let us know if it throws up any memories of your own!

:)

(PS, the PDF can take a couple of seconds to load up for me, but an F5 refresh brings it up.)
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

Yep it does bring back memories.  The WW2 range ended with BR41 and GR67 - look at it now!!!   :D

I think I still have a 1998 cat out in the barn. It still have the 1/200th SCW range in it, but the new range is by far way better  :D

Comparing this with the current catalogue, most of the major ranges are already in place. What isn't apparent is how many of the ranges have been re-modelled over the years. I notice that some of the 19th century infantry figures were sculpted at the trail. Since none of the ones I have seen recently are, I assume that these have been re-done. What proportion of the ranges in the 2001 catalogue do you think have been replaced or re-modelled?
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

So, what was the mysteriously "NO LONGER AVAILABLE" AC17?  :-\  ;)
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

Quite a few, just flicking through, I can see:
- League of Augsburg replaced this year.
- Marlburians were changed not long after this catalogue.
- Peninsular French are in the process of being replaced.
- Both of the Franco-Prussian ranges replaced around 5 years ago.
- The ACW was bought from someone else, I'd have to check with Dave to confirm who.
- The Vietnam was brought up to 10mm scale from 1/200th.

There are still a couple of ranges left which we'd like to redo, but we'll have to see what we can get done over the next few years.

Now that's a good question, I'll have to check on that...

Interestingly the prices seem to have stayed pretty static during the last 10 years as well which is always a good thing! :D
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

It was....  (drumroll please) ... a Centaur!   :D

Then we got a few new ones sculpted, and decided to pop them in their own little area, so the old one was scrapped.

...and thus the mystery was solved!

Makes sense when you look at the other figures in the range (apart from the Lizard-boy on skateboard, that's a tad left-field ;) )

The thing that doesn't make sense is how I've managed to not notice the missing AC17 code in all the years I've been editing the catalogue..  :-[

It was a 1:200th range, so we got rid of it a long time ago as it didn't fit in with the rest of the ranges.  We sold it to Bren Gun Miniatures originally, but we noticed it being sold by someone else at the Colours show this year.  Can't remember the name of the company unfortunately.
