Hell in the Pacific

Just a heads up for a repeat of the superb four part Channel 4 documentary from a decade ago. In my opinion unmissable. I had very little knowledge of the war in the Pacific and came away with a feeling of an utterly brutal conflict. I can still see in my minds eye the footage of shell shocked soldiers shaking uncontrolably on troop ships awaiting shipping back to the USA.

Sounds like a good series but can't watch it in the USA.  Chanel 4 has blocked it on USA youtube.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I recorded them all and watched them this week.  I never knew how horrific this conflict, and the programmes covered all the different perspectives excellently.
