After the sculpting contest i continued painting the dungeon ...

I opted for grey as the basic colour...

The dungeon-pieces were primed black and then heavily drybrushed grey. After that the pieces got a "wash" with black and a light grey drybrush.
Subsequently they were drybrushed with a cream-like white and pure white. Then the pieces were dabbed/drybrushed
with different brown colours and green to get an "aged"-look.

This is how the basic colour scheme of my dungeon looks like...

To get more variety and a bit more colour to the dungeon i started modifying the floor tiles.
Therefore i cut some thin plastic sheets into square pieces and glued them to the single dungeon squares. After that i coloured the
squares in chessboard style, like on the heroquest board.

For the corridors i decided to give them two colours: grey walls and brown floors.

I am yet undecided, if the brown floorcolour fits....  :-\

Interesting approach Annatar, i really like the Hero Quest chequered floor tile effect.

I see you undercoat in black then add grey on top. I tend to go black undercoat then add white (Spray) over the black to create a grey tone (white and a bit of black makes grey and all that bla bla bla).

Nice work. I`d really love to see some more photos   :-bd

These are extremely attractive Annatar.

Keep up the great work. Really most impressive  8) I very much look forward to seeing you play some games with this little lot when everything is all painted up (and sharing the photos with us, of course)  ;)

hanks for your comments Six and Kev !  :-[

I tried to give all the rooms a dirty/old/mossy look. I hope this worked out and i didn't overdo it. I noticed later is that on the photos you can sometimes the original floor looking through between the tiles . Normally you can hardly see this.  Maybe have to overwork this.... hmmm  :-\

Next i will paint the corridors and then some minis...

Furtermore i am planing to buy a black cloth to be laid on the table and beneath the dungeonpieces for the visual effect and to build a dungeon/cave entrance....

Of course i will write a (nice) battlerep with lots of pictures, when everything is complete !!!
