Some years ago I bought and painted a collection of WWI Brits and Turks to wargame some Middle East battles.  I bought a number of artillery pieces, some as samples and some to use having painted them.  I now want to venture into the Western Front and possibly Italian.  However when I went back to the sample guns I bought I could not remember which gun was what!
So, can any kind soul identify the guns (and codes) from the following images?  I am sure #1 is an 18 pounder field gun and #3 is a 77mm field gun, but after that it gets a little vague.

with much thanks...

Unless anyone else posts in the meantime, I'll grab Dave tomorrow and identify them for you.

I'm guessing but

1= 18pr, 2 = 4.5" Howitzer, 3 = 77mm (if there are seats on the sheild?) 4 = 105mm lt Howitzer, 5 = 60pdr, 6= 150mm howitzer, rest - no idea.

Righty then, I've consulted with the boss and... you're correct with those two, and Ian's good up to No.6.  So the complete list is:

1 = 18 pdr - code BP7/7a and ME13
2 = 4.5" Howitzer - code BP9/9a and ME29
3 = 77mm field gun - code GP5/5a and ME14
4 = 105mm Howitzer - code GP7/7a and ME31
5 = 60pdr HG - code BP11/11a and ME30
6 = 150mm field gun - code GP8/8a
7 = 21cm Morser Lang - code GP9/9a
8 = 6" Howitzer - code BP23
9 = 9.2" Howitzer - code BP12/12a
10 = 4.2" Howitzer - we think!  Are there two supporting arms running from the shield to the gun? - code BP13

Thank you very much for making the identifications.

This is going to be very useful as it means that I can confidentially order an artillery piece and get the one I want.

Yes number 10 has supporting arms going to the barrel, so a 4.2” howitzer.
