Meaning the handful of Arab tribes making a skimpy living on the fringes of the Turkish world that was the Islamic middle east, be it in language, customs, literature, military styles?
And that "shorthand" could be used as a useful cloak for all sorts of language that I'd offend people even by quoting.

Forigve my ignorance - but what would be a better shorthand then? Turks? Muslims?

[I'll be using 'Crusaders' or "Kingdom of Jerusalem" as shorthand for the opposing forces BTW so if that's not right, help me out! - I'd use 'Europeans' or 'Christians' but those could be useful cloaks too...actually, a lot of them *are* wearing cloaks...  ;)]

Great army! very inspiring!

I see you opt for fill the stand with 5 miniatures per row. you build up your armies with a surprising speed! Goood job

Saladin's army and state are often referred to as Ayyubids, after his actual name, so there's a good compromise.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Cool - thanks  :)

I'm not going to modify the thread title though because then all these posts wouldn't make sense!

Don't specify. Just let it hang - that way no-one can grouse.  8)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
