Hi

I`ve got some british infantry for the boer war or northwest frontier and some of the running figures look like totally different sculpts . One running pose is the same size as the advancing figures but there is another running figure who is huge compared to the rest. There obviously from different sculptors but which is which.

Jim.

I've just been out and cast both an NW1 and a BW5, and the only real difference is that the Boer War figures have got backpacks on.

On the sculpts themselves, I'm not sure where the bigger chap has come from, because the ones I've got here are almost identical and were done by the same designer?

I thought they would be the same figures for both ranges to be honest but there is a marked difference in some of the running poses. The rifles are  also different the bigger figure has a longer thinner rifle than the other.

I'm a bit stumped on this then, the only visual difference between the running poses I've got here are the backpacks on the Boers, and slightly bigger helmets.  The base figure is identical.

What codes Jim? [pics would help too I think] - I've got some Zulu War Brits & some Boer War Brits & there is some size difference between those...

I think I`ve got the majority of figures from the NWF range but may have got a bag of the british foot (1) from the boer war range just for a mix .
