So, I just started right away.

Some billmen with surcoat (ELM 26) cleaned and dry fitted.

Put on the ice cream sticks. The hero (Barbarian Chieftain, FB4) is already based. I actually want to stick the whole army, but someone had the idea to get rid of my supplies of stick  :-X

Finished hero. No grass yet.

I think it's a great figure. The color choice is roughly based on my adolescent hero, the unnamed hero from Sierra On-line 90s adventure game called Quest for Glory, probably in his post QfG5 state. Because he's the type of a kind hero, I painted that his sword is sheathed. He's really powerful, having faced demons, dragons, death, witches, dark gods, vampires, evil vizier... a lot of things.

This is my first painting in like a half year. Many of my paint bottles are wasted, and brushes flayed during that time.

Painting metal is tiresome, so I decided to make a test batch. I'm going swimming... (for real)

Based, not yet given grasses. Not sure whether to repaint the base or not (black + drybrush)

Now working on knights

Meanwhile, the stronghold I made of paper a few weeks back (when I was in fever waiting for the minis to come)
