What size bases did he use?

Hey guys - found this beautiful pic of a Pendraken Scots army in the English Civil War on the Pendraken facebook page:

What really intrigued me was to see that he based each model individually. I love how it gives some sense of rank when they're lined up, but still a cluttered skirmish feel to it.

I'd like to try it! Any idea what sizes he used for the bases? Is that 15x15 for the soldiers, and for the horses 15x30? Or has he made his own 10x10, or even 5x5?

Thanks!

Tony

Hi Tony, it looks like the 15x15 ans 15x30mm bases that Pendrake sell  http://www.pendraken.co.uk/MDF-Bases-c28/SquareRectangular-Bases-sc236/

I have a bunch and they're very nice - smell like barbeque too!

Thanks for the reply - what a relief!

Never tried 10mm before, worried I was going to have to sit with a hacksaw carving my own bases.

I've just noticed that Mr Hannouf has replied on Facebook, if you'd like any of the custom sizes he mentions, let me know and I'll see how many I can put in a pack for £1.

Hey thanks! I already put through an order for loads of samurai on Sunday and the 15x15 and 15x30 bases.

So its cool - I'll see how I get on with them. It's my first time trying this scale, so maybe it will actually work out easier for me if the bases aren't too small and fiddly!

PS: Fantastic site and support forum! I'm really looking forward to painting these up.
