That's a bit of a crapper, what line of work are you in?

Sorry to hear that. I read somewhere it's the job that's redundant not the person and I think it will be a situation a lot of people are/will be in soon (including my good self) The good side is as you say more time for doing some of the things you want to do! 8) I've been building up my Pendraken pile for a bit and at my incredibly slow rate of painting I'll be finished in 2022 ;D Chin up!

Squirrel

Rough deal there chap :( Good luck on the job hunting - agencies seem to be the way to go in my neck of the woods.

Cheers,

Been there, done that. It's the implied rejection that hurts most. I think "screw the lot of them" is the line to take.

Good luck :-bd
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Nightmare - unless you actually mean 'sacked' in its proper usage: ie dismissed on capability / disciplinary grounds - in which case, yes, nightmare - but...there must be a reason  :(

If you're using the word 'sacked' to mean "made redundant" then - absolute nightmare & good luck etc etc  :)
