Can anyone recommend a decent supplier of 10mm flags for a late 16th/early 17th century Polish army?

Something like these:

If you want to try your hand at doing them yourself have a look at Richard Brzezinski's Polish Armies 1569-1696 Osprey 184. Likewise George Gush's Renaissance Armies also has a few designs you can copy. The larger libraries may have a copy.

If you have a drawing package on your computer have a go with that. Draw them large and shrink them down. Remember, at 10mm most of the fiddly stuff gets lost anyway. :)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Are the above the ones you're looking for?  If so, I can add them to the ranges.

Hi Leon,

I'm at the exploratory stage at the moment but they look like they could fit the bill quite nicely. What pics I've seen of 15 and 25mm 16/17th century Poles seem to be very heavy on the flags and pennants,  and they do give an army a certain flair. I'm using Principles of War 15mm basing with 10mm figures for a good  sized unit look and strangely looking forward  to painting up 5 x 24 figure winged  Hussar units. Then again I am a little mad already.

Out of period I know but you could look at :

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/matthaywood/main/Polish_Standards.htm

and/or

http://www.krigsspil.dk/ (under downloads - Crusades)

Both sites contain banners for the Polish Army at Grunwald/Tannenburg free to download. I don't know how much these banners would have changed over time.

Brilliant link and very much appreciated.

Great links!

Only shame is they seem to have been drawn from literature, as opposed to original drawings, so me looking at those flags to help draw our own could be iffy!
