I went to Redcar for a couple of hours on Sunday, does that count?!   :(

You mean you came all the way from beautiful Durham to visit Redcar....  :o  Surely there's nicer coastal locations further north!

I don't think so, the mines which used to dump waste on the coast have all closed and a lot of work's been done to recover the area.

The coast's better but it's a shame to see anonther slice of our great industrial heritage just wiped away  :D
