I still haven't quite got the hang of this....(I mean posting photo's !)
But not too far off.

So...Obviously...Lots still to do...Especially the archers and allies on the top row...
Second row...Apart from the 'slinger' on the left who has a right arm that's even longer than one of mine....these are not going too far away from what I was intending.
I'm reasonably confident with what I need to do now ..thanks to Bertie's input...
Just want to make sure that the slingers will be 'correct' with a small 'veles' type shield being held by the left arm.

Input welcome as usual.

Cheers - Phil (PS...I'm not doing feathers on anything this small EVER again.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D......AAAAARGH !!.....Only joking guys !!)

Thanks Kev.

I love the new avatar...Where did that come from ?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Looking great Techno, like the touch of a sheild for the slinger. Also fantastic to see the allies taking shape.

Bertie

Techno

Thanks Bertie !
With luck I should have this group, well on the way to completion tomorrow afternoon, so I'll try and put up another couple of shots for feedback before any final tweaks.

Luddite

Those are some amazing sculpts Techno.  Really seriously fine work sir.

The pilum was a javelin rather than a spear so the posing of these is slightly odd, but otherwise these figs are doubleplusgood.

The archers are excellent, with some decent sized bows (stubby little bows being a problem with some Pendraken ranges).

Thanks Luddite.

I understand what you mean !...
I'm afraid I was a bit of a coward, as I had to use the thickness of rod (for casting purposes) that you see...I was a little concerned that that particular size rod would look a little bit 'strange' if the figures were using the pili (?) as they must have been in combat.....Maybe in the future though !

But now....
These new ones are all but finished....I hope I've just got a little bit of cleaning up to do...Especially on the red 'shields'. (Plus run a feed to each of the bows !)
Also hope the allies are the sort of thing that was expected by everyone.

Thanks Nik.

I think I'll do at least one extra 'change' tho'...The archer top left...Something does not look right with his helm now I look at it again !

Cheers - Phil.

Bertie

Hi Techno,

Looking really good, love the slingers. The Pilum would look better in a throwing pose as stated by Luddite, but hey ho. Any chance of making the first allies spear point forward, as if he was getting stuck into an enemy?

Hi Bertie.

I'm sure I'll make some 'chuckers'....May be able to do some conversions at some stage....(I'll ask that nice Mr Leon  ;) )
The ally ?.....Oh.. all right then...Just for you  ;D ;D. (they do look a little too similar in pose as they are....and I don't think there'll be any problems casting wise for that one doing some 'prodding'.

Cheers - Phil.

Just to let everyone know, these chaps arrived at Pendraken HQ today, so I'll get some shots taken of them all together and post them up tomorrow hopefully!
