Here we go again...Like I said I'll leave things alone this time !

So...If I don't press the wrong buttons again....

Top pic L/R Histatus/Tribune/Histatus/Signifier/Veles.
Bottom pic L/R Archer/Archer/Triarius/Triarius/Veles/Veles.

As you can see lots of work still to do...And if ANYONE makes any comments about 'my favourite martian' for the two Triarius (i ??....Long time since I did Latin !!) as they are at the moment....I'll send the boys round....

Cheers - Phil.

Awesome, I have a Republican army in one of my to-be-painted boxes, they may be dumped on Evil Bay in favour of these fellas.

Techno

Thanks Gordon. I'm pleased you like them !
Won't take too long to finish them off now ....apart from the feathers on the two Triarius models.
(Sigh),,,,Why couldn't they have something nice and easy like the 'plume' on the tribune ?  ;D

Cheers - Phil.

Thanks both !

With luck, with what I've got done today they should be 'finished'/almost finished early next week...So, one or two more lots of piccies still to come for feedback before they go into the post.

 ;D ;D ;D

Well....I did give up Latin as fast as was humanly possible....But I mean..Given the choice between Latin and Art what would most people go for ?

Cheers - Phil.

Very nice looking greens

The bottom row is looking ideal for the 'Bleep and Booster' army I was thinking of putting together
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I was thrown off my Latin course during my classics MA, and later introduced to the Head of Harvard Classics Dept by Prof John Rich, my head of Dept at Nottingham as: "The most lingustically incompetent person we've ever had the misfortune of teaching",

They then proceeded to get me absoloutely drunkl!

Well....Yours truly would always be the first to finish a Latin exam....Usually at least half an hour before everybody else.
There'd be a full answer for every single question.....And I'd usually get something around 20-25%. Nothing that I'm proud of, but
I'm afraid I simply could not stand Latin at that age.

Here's trying again.....
.

So...these are the 'almost nearly' finished shots.

The top row...still need the odd things like arms, arms finishing off properly, shields and some fiddly bits here and there.
I think the bottom are now completed...apart from the signifier who just needs a little neatening up on his 'standard'.

Let me know if I've missed something obvious...I hope I haven't !

Look great so far. Nice one!
Slingers? That would be my only suggestion...
