Thats quite a lot of points for an evening game! We find 1500 to 1750 about right. But your titan will have taken a big chunk of the total - was he worth his points, vs presumable a bunch of enemy formations?

We find Legions has such a high casualty count, that I'd be tempted in a game of that size to keep a third of troops off table to deploy on turn 2 or 3 simply so they can't be shot for a couple of turns!

Frank definitely paid for himself, killing or breaking five detachments. Also, he was how I got to the 2500 points as I was scratching around to get more points (also the reason for rhinos, usually my marines get bussed about in Landies). Definitely less points is more fun, but Michael had new kit to use!

Good to hear the warlord carried his weight, we've found the smaller titans can be a bit weedy. 

Rhinos are oddly effective, as the dedicated transport rule means they don't affect break point of the formation. So once they've dropped the Marines they can be used as shields, or to rush up and spray enemy infantry with bolter fire. And any shots spent killing them aren't killing something of value. 

We are playing 6500 pts aside at the weekend - 2 players a side - and have all day for this - will be interesting to see how it plays out.
