Last Hussar

I only find out about "Louis the Lion" last year, and wondered if it might be a Wiki mischief edit. Had a quick search today, and found a number of sites about him - He besieged Berkhamsted castle - just down the road from me!

Why isn't he more prominent in teaching etc about John/Baron's War?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Likewise, I doubt that Henry V and Agincourt are mentioned much in France.

I'm afraid the name Louis the Lion makes me think of a TV character from the early 1960s called Lenny the Lion; he was a ventriloquist's dummy.

Probably because nothing between 1066 and the industrial revolution is taught in schools?
