Hi all
Random question.

Watching Goldeneye.  In it Bond takes a Russian tank. It is a T54/55 they dressed up to look like a T72.

How long and how would it take to start?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

It's remarkably fast, as long as you have a long downhill slope and about fifty grenadiers to push for the first three hundred metres.

It should have an electric starter with a compressed air starter as plan b.

It's a film, so it will take exactly as long to start as the plot needs it to.

Well, I know that! I was just thinking real life! I love a 007, but I know they don't always hew close to reality...

Takes about 1 minute 5 seconds according to this clip......

But Bond probably just has to tip down the sun visor, catch the keys and turn on the ignition  ;)
