Alternate basing for Warband figures

Has anyone based the Warband figures on smaller bases?  I moved my Goblins onto individual bases, now rethinking if I can group them in larger groups on 40x20, 40x40 or 50x50 anyone done this yet?

I use 4 40x20 bases as a unit, for more felxiblility

I already had my figures on 40x20mm bases from Warmaster - so used sabot bases for Warband. Works great - either 3 or 4 Warmaster stands to make a Warband base.

I got Leon to laser cut me some MDF movement trays, which hold everything in place very nicely.

If you went with 40x40 or 50x50mm square bases then just positioning two bases side by side would work, without the need for movement trays.
