I am 'competing' in a 15mm 'Hordes of the Things' competition - running out my trusty 'Riders of Rohan' army again (just because I didn't manage to get my Grateful Dead 'End of the World' Tour army completed in time   
 
But do please come & cheer on Theoden, Eomer, Eowen (& Merry) and Gandalf, defenders of the Mark 
Apparently we are playing near the Bring & Buy (get thee behind me satan!  )

Thanks for sharing the report Steve - great to see lots of games, and I really appreciate you snapping the info card or rules for each one, gives some great context. 

There are several really impressive games, but there were a couple that are just a cloth on the table with next to no terrain - feel a bit underwhelming for a show. But I suppose no harm in showing what can be done quickly and simply, vs something that is a lot of effort to get to the visual spectacle.

One of the things we talk a lot about as a group of friends, is showcasing all aspects of the hobby, from the simple Cannae game through to the detailed Raesvki Redoubt, so new entrants to the hobby can see where you can start from and what you might be able to achieve.
