Very simple - words where we have lost the original, but have the opposite.
for instance;

Dolent (Indolent)

Feckfull (Feckless)

Ignorant (Norant)

Whelmed (You can be overwhelmed, you can be underwhelmed, but never have the correct amount!)
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

Gorm (Viking origin) is barely used, but Gormless soldiers on.

I beg to differ on whelmed.

I sometimes say "Well, I'm whelmed" when neither "Wow!" nor "Like I could care less" seem appropriate.

As an aside, any Viking band I find myself in charge of is inevitably lead by Gorm the Less, often ably assisted by Kettil the Black.

But whealm actually means (meant?) a surge or strong flow! :D

Well, I'm going with the flow!

Besides I didn't say I was using it properly :)
