...that Lee can be beaten. Magnesia this evening, with me leading the Romans. Lee discontinued an alarming run of victories. Her imperfectly-disciplined Seleucid army largely failed to commit itself, the Arabian contingent deserted, and a muddy field delayed her superior cavalry. Even her melee rolls were below par. She says she wants a rematch tomorrow.
Figures mainly Newline and Pendraken, with a couple of those splendid Mag. Mil. ellies, and a few Lancashire Numidians.

We have, btw, instituted a five-minute moving limit. I think it's a great improvement.

Take that scurrilous libel back!
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Can't deny that. A few key units also refused to move and lend support, and she rolled crummy dice throughout. I've had bad luck recently, and I think Mars decided to balance things a bit yesterday.

To your credit you made it fairly clear up front, but it's hard to resist ribbing you at least a bit ;)

Kitty, I do know of, might even have a few, Lancashire figures, but the phrasing of Lancashire Numidians was not to be missed.

The only time I've met - rather than just seen - someone of the same stock was in a restaurant in Paris. She was rather a stunner, too.

Here we see the difference between Pendraken Forum and The Other Site

There - Battle report, followed by 'thanks for posting', and, depending on period*, an earnest discussion of what you did wrong, both tactically and problems with the rules.

Here - Quickly devolves into mickey-taking and side notes.

*ESPECIALLY the Napoleonic Boards, which would make Napoleon go 'bit aggressive'.
