As the UK enjoys a rather soggy excuse for summer there's still a lot going on at Pendraken HQ...




Pendraken Future Plans...

As most of us will be aware (especially those in the UK!), the world has been a crazy place over the past few years and all of our lives have been impacted in various ways.  Whether it's pandemics, wars, politics or economics, things haven't been easy for quite some time.

Sadly, businesses don't escape these factors either and Pendraken has also been facing its fair share of issues for some time now.  Sales peaked for us during the initial months of the Covid pandemic (as they did for many hobby businesses) and have reduced since then as you'd expect.  But when you combine that turnover drop with the huge increases in costs that we've seen in the past 2-3 years, it doesn't make for good reading.  As a result, for the first time in our history, Pendraken ran at a loss during the 22-23 tax year, by a considerable margin.

To quickly summarise everything that follows, we're going to be fine but we need to make some changes to our pricing and future plans.  If you're interested in the details, continue reading over on our Forum here.




Books added to the website!

We've had a large selection of books in our physical shop for a while now but we've finally added them to the website too.  There are over 400 different titles available with flat-rate UK shipping so head over and take a look here.

If you're outside the UK, just drop us a note with a list of the books you'd like and we can get a shipping quote for you.




More Litko products available!

We're continuing to add more new Litko products to our website and this month we've gt the first batch of their Flight Stands along with another selection of the Tokens too.  For a full list of the new additions head over to our Forum here.

And don't forget that we can order in anything else you need from Litko as well.  All we need is a list of the SKU codes and quantities you'd like, and we can get them over to the UK within around 3-4 weeks normally.




New 28mm decals from I-94!

We've stocked the excellent I-94 Enterprises decals for over a decade now, with a huge selection available for models in 20mm / 1:72nd and smaller.  They've now decided to dip their toe into the larger scales and have just released the first of their 1:56th designs as well, with German crosses and US stars first to arrive.

Upcoming Shows

With half of the year gone already we're looking ahead to the start of the autumn shows and our next two outings will be to Border Reiver in Gateshead (Sat 2nd Sept) and Colours in Newbury (Sat 9th Sept).

As always we'll need your pre-orders sending at least 7 days in advance and you can place these through the website by choosing the Collect at Show delivery option.

Next month we'll have those FV432s and Chieftains ready for release, along with some new Napoleonic codes and a few bits of 10mm scenery.
