We had a play around with some VSF adaptations to The Men Who Would Be Kings the other day, set around the 1899 Great Steam War in the Balkans. A full write up on the blog  https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2023/08/vsf-1899-balkans-war.html

4 reasons
1. I have a copy of The Men Who Would Be Kings
2. I have 19th century armies for TMWWBK
3. I was kindly sent a Pulp adapatation for TMWWBK which I reverse engineered for 19th century
4. I don't have a copy of Xenos Rampant! :D
