Hi All,

Busy summer here; through the continued generous sponsorship of a Pendraken customer, I've been working on some more AWI sets. Since google makes it a real pain to post photos, these are not all that's currently on the table so some more pics will follow.
A bit niche, but fun, is the amusette. It quite literally is a 15mm gun I scavenged from previous work in that scale; with the lock swapped out for a more in-scale version it works nicely.
There's a version with a mantlet to cover behind, and a version being fired from a supported rest. For both Jagers and Queen's Rangers.
Might be a better addition as a vignette than a unit, but interesting all the same.

Also show here are some American light infantry in caps that might be considered late-war. A nice alternative to tricorns and round hats. Good for storming redoubts too.

Lastly, some German officers on horseback. Decided to keep them fairly generic and gave them Swedish cuffs as this seems most common.

Excellent work, love those amusettes.

Reminds of the jingals/jezails/zemburaks in 18th-19th century Asian armies, some of the Chinese/Tibetan ones had really long barrels like 54".

Bit like 25mmL54 anti-tank guns before their time....
The Afghans had field versions with bipods, I converted some in 28mm plastics for my 1830s-40s Afghan army.

If Pendraken get round to doing more 10mm colonial stuff (eg Boxer rebellion, finishing off the Afghan ranges) then some wall gun teams would be nice.

As always, your work in this scale is outstanding!  :o  I can see those German officers joining my SYW armies in the not too distant future, if Leon brings a couple of packs to COLOURS (pretty please).   :-bd

Cheers all. It's been good to go back and fill out the range a bit, sometimes its things I wouldn't have thought of, sometimes it's things that have been bugging me for a while (e.g. German gun crews; photos to follow soon).
I don't have time anymore to work on the range in my spare time*, so real thanks goes to the sponsors who ensure I can slot it in the rest of my work. Sort of like when parliament got serious and declared the American war to be a Foreign war so they could really get to work.

German generals by Colours- If Colours is on the 9th of September I think that would be a bit too  tight. The figures are still on my work desk.

*now that I read that I realise it can be mathematically reduced to "I don't have any spare time"

As Clib says, unlikely to have even arrived at Pendraken HQ in time for Colours!  I'd imagine these will be a release towards the end of the year, so maybe Warfare in November if you're at that one?

Some German gun crews. The hats are a tad big, a reflection of my abilities when the range started- I simply wasn't able to get them any smaller and get the tape around the edge to work. It was important to dolly the hats as they are way too complex to do each time on each figure. Now I would make them smaller. However I did not want them to be inconsistent with the existing line infantry so I decided to keep the old hats.
