Spent a chunk of today at the show with my older son and had a whale of a time, as always.

Caught up with various friends who were, or still are, members of The South East Scotland Wargames Club, the club that runs the show. Also had a chat with Leon, of this parish, and Pete Berry of Baccus. Couple of folks I usually see weren't in evidence so hopefully they were just lost somewhere in the melee and not unable to attend due to ailments or misfortune.

Lots of great games on show and a varied selection of traders. I picked up some 6mm Battletech scenery from Mighty Minis which will become 20mm scenery for 5 Parsecs ... when I eventually get back to that. But those and a sample of the Wofun flats were all my acquisitions. Have to say, now I've seen them on the table, and in view of my abysmal painting rate, I'm rather taken with the Wofun stuff.

Hopefully I've turned those images that needed it the right way up! :)

Thanks for taking the time to post a show report so promptly, some nice looking games there about some unusual subjects.....Cod Wars and the Dutch in the Medway.

You got all the pictures except the last one purhaps?....looks like Admiral Lutjens and freinds made it to the South Atlantic :)

That Medway terrain gives me ideas for ACW gunboats....

Glad the photos were of interest.

I really shouldn't go to wargames shows, I have so many unfinished projects already and come away with plans for even more.

I'd go for the Anglo-Dutch Wars in either 1/4800 or 1/2400 if I wasn't already stalled with my 1/4800 Napoleonic fleets.

So many ideas so little focus! :D

Nice photos Mike, you saw more than I did.

Spent all morning on the flea market, hard work but eventually fruitful, got rid of some earlier projects.

Had to escape in mid afternoon as the aches and pains were taking over.

A nice mix of games and great to see info boards on the game played, the club putting it on etc.
