Montagnard Crossbowman

Hi,
I was wondering if there is any figures suitable for use as Montagnards? I'm after some crossbowmen that could be used for gaming a trilogy of books by Lindsay Gutteridge. Micronaughts and giant bugs/insects. The main characters are armed with primitive crossbows. So basically I'm after primitive or modernish in appearance.
