  • Nobby is evicted from his home in the mess icemaker.

  • You find interesting uses for ice
  • The dog refuses to go out for a walk
  • Ice Cream vans have red crosses painted on them

- When the nice insulated office you built turns into a fully enclosed heat trap instead.
- When the shop is strangely the coolest room in the building but you can't print the orders from there...

Lads I feel for you..last year it was our turn...locally we got up to 45-46...the town of Lytton up to 49-50..set the heat record then had a fast moving fire go through town with 2-3 min warning to get out...burned the whole place down... a few days ago they got another fire started on the other side of the river..its grown quickly.  Wishing things cool down quickly & no fires start.

Feeling really sorry for the crew manning the moulding machines.

I wish.  I could sleep at 22.  We got down to 25 by midnight but climbing to 26 at 04.30 and then beyond.    Still we will be back to moaning about the cold and wet before much longer and we are saving lots of ££ by not flying abroad to enjoy these temps.   :)

You know its hot when
the bin men arrive at 6am to make doubly sure you are awake
the postman looked so frazzled we gave him a cold drink
the utility room with the boiler and all the electrics is the coolest room.  (normally hottest)
you are dressed for the beach indoors all day
you laugh back at folks who sniggered when you put up both blinds and curtains on the same windows

Well, you are living in the upside down.

Yes, I have just started watching Stranger Things. Only five years behind everyone else, as usual.
