Just finished reading The Fort and have to say it was a jolly good read indeed...As Cornwell admits he has altered a few of the facts but as a novel it is good fun
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
